About the Event
Writing a Short Story is a great introduction to the essential elements of fiction. We will walk slowly through your story's development, learning to use your personal experience to craft an entire world with characters, conflicts and lessons learned. Your short story can become a part of a novel or stand alone and be published on various platforms. We will go into all the possibillites for your writing.
We will learn best writing practices, take notes from successful authors, dive into publishing and social media, and the best part: Grow a community and have accountability partners and peer editors throughout this process.
This course is truly enjoyable from start to finish and is a fantastic win to start your year. In this course, you can and will finish what you start! What a feeling!
This Cohort will begin on Saturday, February 4th via Zoom. Class times will be set in stone once the participant make-up is clearer. Classes will be recorded for those who need to miss a live class for any reason.
